Welcome to the SNOO! What is a SNOO? It is the answer to my biggest fear of having a second baby. With my first born son Sylver, Seek and I never read any books, asked anyone about a babies sleeping patterns, or to put in short; we thought, "how hard could it be?" Sylver was an awful sleeper, nursed about 15 times throughout the night, and would not sleep unless he was snuggled up against me OR laying on top of me. Four years later nothing has changed other than the fact that he is a man-child and he can now explain to me why he needs to be in our bed. His argument is, "Well mom, I don't want you to be scared!?!"
The SNOO is not only a beautiful accent piece for any room, but it has some wonderful features. Although you can swaddle a baby in a nice blanket to help them sleep better, nothing has done a better swaddle in my experience than the SNOO. As shown in my first image, you can see the adorable "space suit" we call it that she goes in ever night.
If Bali is upset, or having a hard time falling asleep, you simply push the button shown above, and it has different levels to suit your babies happiness. Each level has a different motion, along with a different sound depending on what your baby likes. Bali likes the first level best. This is wonderful for naps, but I am most grateful for this feature at bedtime. Instead of waking up in the middle of the night, getting out of bed, waking up my husband and my son (remember Sylver still sleeps with us), I simply push the button and she goes right back to bed.
I could not be more stoked to have the SNOO with Bali. If I could get one for every MAMA I would. Every mom deserves a break especially in the middle of the night, or in my case with Sylver, ALL NIGHT LONG. I mentally prepared myself to struggle big time and get zero sleep with having two kids ( this is what many people told me), but I can honestly say I am getting plenty of sleep and things are going great! I think most moms struggle when going from one to two kids mainly because they aren't getting the proper amount of sleep which gives them zero energy to function and chase around the older child during the day. Bali is also blessed with a big brother that loves her to the moon and back. I think he tells her "your so cute," about 20 times a day.
This SNOO soothes nighttime fussing, helps parents learn babies cues; and most important keeps baby safe.
